Level Four

In my opinion, ripping is not such a big issue, it's been existing for a long time now. It was firstly used with the old tapes that permits you to record your 12" plates. It's not something considered as legal but i think it's another process to progress and inovate as we evolve in this world of communication.
In some how, i don't think it's ethical as the artists we rip their songs are earning money from the music they sell. The whole issue to me is to find how we can still download music for free and how the artists can get paid for their music.

3. Digital Rights Management refers to technologies that control or restrict the use and access of digital media content on electronic devices with such technologies installed. It concerns works that may be subject to right management are generally educational materials included in online repositories, and tagging for rights clearing. It's not to be confound with copyrights.
